The spiral curriculum

The colour coding shows how certain concepts are developed during the seven years of primary school, namely, 'Science inquiry skills', 'Data and variables', 'Design', 'Agriculture' and 'Robotics', although some of these areas overlap such as 'Data and variables' with 'Science inquiry skills'.  This is in keeping with Bruner's (1960) notion of the spiral curriculum where concepts are reintroduced with increasing complexity and depth.
