The colour coding shows how certain themes are developed during the seven years of primary school, namely, 'Working scientifically', 'Precision agriculture', 'Data visualisation', 'Coding', 'Engineering' and 'Machines' although some of these areas overlap such as 'Data visualisation' with 'Working scientifically'. This is in keeping with Bruner's (1960) notion of the spiral curriculum where concepts are reintroduced with increasing complexity and depth as students learn and grow.
