The 28 STEM units

The colour coding shows how certain concepts are developed during the seven years of primary school, namely, 'Science inquiry', 'Data and variables', 'Design', 'Sustainability' and 'Robotics', although some of these areas overlap such as 'Data and variables' with 'Science inquiry'. This is in keeping with Bruner's (1960) notion of the spiral curriculum where concepts are reintroduced with increasing complexity and depth.
